As an early childhood educator, parent and grandparent, I’ve helped many children discover the joy of reading. My mission is to help parents and other caring adults understand how easily they can help their child learn. Hence my reason for writing engaging picture books revealing the building blocks of literacy. I hold a Master’s degree in Early and Middle Childhood Education, a diploma from The Institute of Children’s Literature and am a member of SCBWI and Children’s Book Insider, as well as several writers’ critique groups. I live in a small historical town in Ohio with my husband/life partner. Our grown children and three grandchildren bring us joy from both near and far.
